Incentive Campaigns Using Mobile Devices
What we call “mobile incentive” is no longer a trend. It is a reality that continues to mature with each passing day.
Why consider mobile devices?
A study conducted by IDC forecasts that 87% of online sales will be made via smartphones and tablets. The study also found that 90% of workers used their personal mobile devices for work. These figures simply confirm what we already know: people are increasingly using mobile devices as their primary means of shopping and working. An article on the Blog do Incentivo notes that, as early as 2014, people were already using apps to communicate with customers, whether to hold web conferences (30%), chat via instant messaging (39%), use social networks (62%) or visit video-sharing websites (66%).Is mobile incentive a trend?
What we call “mobile incentive” is no longer a trend. It is a reality that continues to mature with each passing day. Companies already use mobile devices to engage and encourage their employees to take part in incentive campaigns, integrating them with social networks and rewards platforms.How can you make the most of mobile devices in incentive campaigns?
Incentive campaigns are also used not only to reward employees, but also customers who perform a specific action on their mobile device, whether by opting in (providing their data) or sharing on their social network (increasing the campaign’s reach). Using mobile devices in incentive campaigns gives users greater flexibility and convenience, while also expanding the possibilities. For example:- Offer something in exchange for the user’s location (a prize, discount coupon or other perks);
- Digital rewards (low cost), such as discount coupons for e-commerce purchases, movie tickets and/or exclusive files to download;
- Send sales information in real time, increasing participation;
- Use QR Codes and cameras during sign-ups;
- Provide users with real-time campaign information, increasing engagement and awareness of how to reach their goals;
